Maybe the album's most important track, and definitely its most unsettling — because it sounds almost pleasant. Dark trip-hop, clean and cinematic, 128 BPM, a single melodic synth pulse running through like a thought generator. The lyric admits the upside without apology: "Fifty websites in two months / Five apps I haven't shipped / Twenty years an engineer / But something in me flipped." Then it asks the album's actual central question: "Am I thinking differently / Or thinking what it needs / Did the ideas get louder / Or did it plant the seeds." The bridge confesses the deeper anxiety: "And I was happy doing it. I still am. Does that make it less real, or just the plan."
